Whenever I need to distract someone, I like to use what I have dubbed the Bob Saget Diversionary Tactic. It has two parts:

1) I ask, “hey…is that Bob Saget?” whenever I want to distract someone.

2) I run away as soon as the person turns to look.

It works every time.
