Defying all odds, Transformers is actually good. A plot that could have been ridiculous was made believable, the actors were good, and there were numerous funny moments. For once, here is a summer blockbuster that is actually watchable.

Conclusion: Director Michael Bay makes a movie I like. To say he was due is a dramatic understatement.
